The warehouse creates a permanent presence for existing customers who have facilities in the Southeast region and provides better delivery options for Shorr to expand and succeed in that market. “Our commitment and priority is to improve service for our customers by increasing inventory and product availability in this region,” said Craig Funkhouser, President. “Atlanta is a terrific area and the facility is in an optimal location. Shorr will look to make the continued investments in infrastructure and logistics to support our customers.” The new 50,000 SF Regional Facility is located in Parkside Logistics Centre and provides a 75% increase in floor space over the previous model. The facility comfortably accommodates the sales and customer service teams, along with a spacious corrugated design and equipment demo room. “With our new location and larger footprint, well provide improved service levels, decreased freight transit times, and have the flexibility to grow and expand to meet our customers future requirements,” said Darrin Peterson, Corporate Director of Operations.
